Certified Credit Report Reviewer™

The growth of the consumer credit industry has been
explosive over the past fifteen years. Americans are still getting all
charge-up with their plastic. Individual credit files continue to grow,

after self-study
training and passing a written examination overseen by the ICFE. The
self-study course is based on FACTA and also covers, the common issues

are
also educators. They help people learn how to get their credit files.
The ICFE Certified Credit Report Reviewer™
meets with folks who have their credit reports
in hand and conducts a review of them with the client, line by line. This is done to
both educate people and make them aware of each account listed on their
reports. If they can't identify one, there may be suspicious
activity to watch. It also helps the consumer understand what is in their credit report and how it might be affecting a
credit score, and thereby how much they will pay for credit, if they can

They are trained and equipped with the skills and techniques to assist the victim of
credit and identity
theft. Important identity theft discovery techniques
and prevention measures are implemented and explained to the consumer
during the review process.

About the Credit Report
Review Service:
As an ICFE Certified Credit Report Reviewer™
you will
teach clients how to obtain their credit reports from the three major CRAs. When the client has his or her credit reports in hand,
you will
review their credit reports, page-by-page, with the client present.
The average credit report review takes about an hour and
fifteen minutes.
A
husband and wife are considered separate clients because there are no
joint credit reports.
You will explain how they may
make any changes and corrections and you may suggest what changes to
make using the ICFE's Do-It-Yourself Credit File Correction Guide.
After you have finished the interview you may
want sell or provide the client a copy of the ICFE's
Do-It-Yourself Credit File Correction Guide. The
ICFE Guide has sample letters for your clients to use as a guide in
making any changes desired. The
ICFE's Guide is published in English and Spanish, so you may provide a
bi-lingual service if you so desire. If you provide them with a complimentary copy of the ICFE
Do-It-Yourself Credit File Correction Guide, it is a $10-15 retail
value, your cost is $5 or below, subject to quantity.
Your clients will also receive an
important list of things they should to do prevent against Identity
Theft.
The suggested fee is $35-$50 for about a one hour review service,
including the ICFE Guide. If you spend more than one hour, but less than
90 minutes, the suggested fee is $50-$75 including the ICFE Guide.
